Return Policy — FutureProof Products
v2.0 — Effective March 2026
This policy governs all orders placed on the FutureProof Products platform.
FutureProof Products sells premium, technical, and often made-to-order products. Return eligibility depends on the product type and how the item was fulfilled. The return policy class is displayed on every product page before purchase.
1. Return Policy Classes
Each product sold on FutureProof Products is assigned one of the following return policy classes. The class is shown on the product page and acknowledged at checkout where required.
14-Day Returns — Standard Returnable
Applies to: Standard in-stock items.
- Unused items in original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Item must be in original, resalable condition with all original packaging.
- Submit your return request via My Orders → Request Return.
Freight Return — Approval Required
Applies to: Oversized or freight-shipped items.
- Returns require prior written approval from the vendor.
- Buyer is responsible for return freight costs unless the item is defective or shipped incorrectly.
- Contact support@futureproofproducts.com to initiate a freight return.
- Unapproved returns will not be accepted or refunded.
Final Sale — Made to Order
Applies to: Custom-manufactured and made-to-order items.
- These items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
- Exception: defective items or items materially not as described.
- Defect claims must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
Final Sale — Configured Item
Applies to: Items configured to buyer specifications (custom dimensions, colors, engravings, or assemblies).
- These items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
- Exception: defective items or items materially not as described.
- Defect claims must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
Defect Claims Only
Applies to: Premium, limited-edition, or special-order items.
- No change-of-mind returns. Returns are accepted for defects or shipping damage only.
- Defect or damage claims must be submitted within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence.
- Contact support@futureproofproducts.com to file a defect claim.
No Returns — Digital Item
Applies to: CAD files, 3D models, digital downloads, and licensed digital assets.
- Digital files and downloads are non-returnable once delivered.
- Contact support@futureproofproducts.com if you believe you received the wrong file or a corrupted asset.
2. How to Submit a Return or Defect Claim
- Log in to your account at futureproofproducts.com.
- Navigate to My Orders → select the order → Request Return.
- Select a reason: Wrong item / Damaged / Not as described / Defect / Other.
- Add an optional note and any supporting photos.
- Submit — you will receive a confirmation email.
3. Review Process
- FutureProof admin reviews your request within 2 business days.
- You will receive an email with the decision (approved or rejected).
4. Approved Returns and Refunds
- A Stripe refund is processed to the original payment method.
- Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Creator affiliate commission is automatically adjusted on approved refunds.

Collaboration fees paid through the creator marketplace are not subject to this return policy.
